Beazzer.com is available (meaning, if I wanted to pay some ridiculous amount of money, I could transfer my page from geocities to my very own domain!)... too bad it's completely not worth the price! But, if you're really upset that you can't go to Beazzer.com, try this: Beazer Home Development.

No cavities! Yay me!
Tonight, I went to see Road to Perdition with Gary and Phillip. Pretty good movie. Sam Mendes must be a GREAT director... since I've seen two of his films (his only two American films?), and both were just outstanding!
This weekend is The Iliad reading weekend. So, don't expect entries in the next couple days...

To which would you rather go? The doctor or the dentist? Well, considering many of the PacifiCare doctors at Talbert are pretty much incompetent, I'd rather go see the dentist. ...but, we'll see after today...

For some reason, I have a feeling that everyone gets a graphic that says "I do not need a boyfriend." Gee, I wonder who does, then?!

I've been crazy busy in the past couple days. Scrapbook, Calculus, ROP, DSC, picking up/dropping off people, cooking, buying gas, etc. etc. etc. Somewhere in there, I've been trying to keep up with my email.
Okay, yesterday was pretty fun. I had lunch with Rafael. He's a really nice person... I wish he would have gone to Loara instead of Servite. We're actually probably completely opposites, but I guess that's what makes some people interesting.
You know who is interesting? This one guy in my Calc class. He says hardly a word, but he has this look about him that gives him an aura of "I know what I'm doing." It's like how Ricky Fitts found Janie to be "interesting." He's not particularly good looking, and he may not even be particularly bright, but he just seems interesting.
Alexandria's swearing-in ceremony is tomorrow (Thursday, July 18) at 11 am... the reception is 6-8 pm. I want to go. Anyone want to come with me? Give me a call. There should be free food. :)
I want to be an animator again. I know, I change my mind like 20 times a year... but I am seriously considering going into art... Animation isn't about fully rendered paintings... it's about getting the idea down in a quick sketch... well, maybe that's moreso story sketching than it is animation... but animation is not far from story sketching. I think I really could do it. It'd be great fun. I would actually enjoy my work... and I would be living a dream. Besides, did you really think I'd do well as an attorney? My reading skills are not particularly great. Perhaps I could have made a good engineer, but my lack of science prep has left me in the dust for that career pathway. Why oh why do there have to be such hard decisions in life?! Maybe I'll just crumble... forget about being the one who discovers... maybe turn the towel in and teach the discoverers. If only it were as easy as saying it...

Okay, AP scores are in. First off, congrats to my brother, who got a 5 on his AP US. Wow. I stink at history. As for mine, good news is I passed all the ones I took this year (and all the rest, for that matter...). Don't think Reed recognizes 3's as "passing." Oh well. The point of the matter is that I passed my French AP, and I passed my Stats AP. Now, English Lit... I knew I wasn't that great at Lit, but a 3?! Oh well... Maybe it was because it was my last test? Probably was braindead by then. Calculus... a 3 is really going to put a dent in my math record... Why oh why did I decide to take just second semester?! Gee, had I known how to differentiate implicitly and had I known how the chain rule _really_ worked, maybe I would have scored better... I just wanted a 5 on that... math is my best subject... then I toss it on the side for IB and band. I really messed up my math career right there... :( I really admire people who will quit IB if it gets in the way of taking the classes they want to take. I guess I have no courage in that department. ...but I just would like to say that that score on Calc would have been a 5, if I knew what I was doing at the time! :( I'm upset about all the 3's... Maybe I should have not even taken all those APs... After all, at the time, I knew I wasn't giving it my all... Oh well.

I love math. Math is great. Infinity plus infinity is infinity, but infinity minus infinity is not infinity (you cannot determine this). Anyway, I love math... did I mention that yet? It makes complete sense, and it all is so logical! It's great! The Mean Value Theorem... that's some good stuff there. I should write an ode to math or something...
Asparagus is great. It's elegant and delicious. Definitely not stuffy like your ordinary rich person's food, and yet it is like the food of kings and queens. Well, maybe not the food of kings and queens... but hey, they serve it at Club 33!
I still haven't gotten my AP scores back yet... don't expect much... I wasn't fully awake when I did them.
My room is still not done yet! I need to go through all my school work and throw out the junk... or the crates won't fit in my closet!!!

Isn't it really cool when you find out that some people will do things that they hate doing for the sole reason that you are their friend and they are yours?

Today I went to Magic Mountain with Alana. (By the way, you can see her homepage at: http://www.geocities.com/Terriniski/). Goliath is an excellent ride. Yes, my friends, even though it doesn't go upside down, it still packs a punch! The best part? The first drop was pretty good, but really, it was the G-forces... my goodness, you can't even put your hands up on that ride! It's so awesome! X was closed, so I'll have to go on it another time. Batman, the ride, was also pretty good. I liked how I couldn't tell which way I was going! haha. :) Water rides are fun. Getting drenched was pretty refreshing, considering the fact that you could probably fry an egg on the ground today! All in all, I had a fun day today!
While I was at Magic, I decided on something... when I am self-sufficient (and have enough money to do so), I will purchase two homes, one in Portland and one in California. In the winters, I will come south to Anaheim, and in the summers, I will live in Portland. The weather would then be perfect for me.
