I want to go to the Tofu Festival!!! Grr... my dad thinks we'll get lost, so he discourages us from going. If you can, go there and tell me all about it! :) I love tofu!

I named my Beta fish "Josh." He does this weird thing where he swims to the bottom, and lets himself float up to the roots of the plant that hangs into the vase (his fish bowl). What in the world is he doing?! Is this normal, or should I be worried?

Calculus test: Part I, 100%; Part II, 97%. I wonder what I missed. Oh well. Overall class grade: 97%... probably from the one quiz I missed when we went to go see The Phantom. The fact of the matter is that I remembered to turn degrees into radians, and I checked some, if not all my work. I may not need those addition tutors after all! :)

"...and I believed in you, although you never asked me to..." THAT "never." It's in "You're Still You." Very, very, very cute.

If you want to see at movie at the Block on a Friday night, go early. Even movies that opened a month ago are sold out. Dang it... I really wanted to see My Big Fat Greek Wedding. Parking's not that great either. I hate the Block. Too crowded. Ultrahouse is a cool store.

I miss the good 'ole days.

The Time Machine. If you haven't seen it, I would recommend this movie. It is entertaining. It's predictable in the sense that you know that the good guy won't die in the first quarter of the movie... but for the most part, the action is very unpredictable. The special effects KICK BUTT! Wow. Time travel. The movie, most of all, makes you think... which is also the best part. Time travel? Could it happen? Will it happen? What are the rules on the subject of time? Does this moment exist forever as that one time, always there to be accessed whenever you choose in your machine? My thoughts? Time travel will never happen... or else we would have (at some point in the past) seen someone from the future. I guess, unless they also discovered a way to become invisible or a way to reincarnate themselves as other creatures. On second thought, time travel might be able to happen... if it could only go forward, we would never have known from the past... or if they could only travel so many years back, so that we are just too many years before the invention of the time machine to have been affected by people of the future... I don't know. Interesting subject, though.

I went college shopping today. I spent a lot of money. ...Still need some stuff for the dorm.

I went out and BOUGHT the Josh Groban CD today. Yes, I know I already burned a copy, but I decided that I shall not be the one to destroy the recording industry. Good CD, too.

Calculus test today. It went well. I checked my work. Hopefully, I added correctly. ;) I went through my circled answers and then through my scan tron... Yeah, and I saw that I circled "E" on my paper (the test we could write on), but I bubbled in "C." What is wrong with me?! Okay, my math tutor must also understand the basics of ScanTron usage. :)

This is probably the fourth time I've taken the Kingdomality Test... and the fourth time I have been matched with the Prime Minister.

Your distinct personality, The Prime Minister might be found in most of the thriving kingdoms of the time. You are a strategist who pursues the most efficient and logical path toward the realization of the goal that you perceive or visualize. You will often only associate with those people who can assist you in the implementation of your plan. Inept assistants may be immediately discarded as excess baggage. To do otherwise could be seen as inefficient and illogical. On the positive side, you can be rationally idealistic and analytically ideological. You can be a bold decision maker and risk taker who can move society ahead by years instead of minutes. On the negative side, you may be unmerciful, impatient, arrogant, impetuous and impulsive. Interestingly, your preference is just as applicable in today's corporate kingdoms.

WANTED: Math tutor for me. Skills I would like to learn: how to add and subtract. Starting pay: $10/hr. Applications are now being accepted.

On the plus side, I only need a 62% on my final to keep an A in the class.

Lord of the Rings kicks butt! Wow. I didn't fully appreciate it when I was watching the pirated version back in May on the band bus. Wow. That's loyalty right there... when you're willing to jump into the deep waters of the river and you don't even know how to swim. By the way, LEGOLAS kicks even more butt than the whole movie does!!! He's awesome! Like a sniper with a bow and arrow. I must say, though, the movie strangely resembles Star Wars... I won't say which parts, just in case any of you plan on seeing it.

Calculus test today. Work and force (like Physics stuff). Pulling ropes up sides of buildings, stretching springs, etc. etc. etc. Oh yeah, and of course, tank problems... emptying tanks full of water. Calc departmental final this Thursday. Last day!

Discovery Science Center: So, I find out today that Cheryl wanted to hire me this summer after all! Mary Jane told me that Cheryl was wondering back in April or May if I wanted to work summer camp, but she wasn't sure. Call me? I didn't even know when the stinkin' applications were due!!! (Neither did Joevanie! Poor guy, he missed the deadline and lost his camp instructor position as well! [I hear he's working at the zoo?]). Grrr... I will inquire about next summer, though.

Guess what?! Channel 5 was at the Discovery Science Center today! Gayle Anderson was there with them! (Not that I watch the channel 5 news anymore... channel 4 does a lot more news... channel 5 jokes around most of the morning. Actually, to tell the truth, I really don't watch TV at all nowadays, so it doesn't matter to me.)

I got my dorm information today! I'm in Bragdon II, Room 214. I wanted to be in Bragdon in the SEEDS theme program... but I don't think I made it into the SEEDS program... SEEDS is the first floor of Bragdon and 202-210 on the second floor. Grrr... Oh well. My roommate is Lauren Hudgens. Her email isn't working right now, so we'll see about getting in touch w/ her. She's apparently from Maryland. We are sharing a divided double. Yay divided double! ...I don't think we have a fireplace. Shucks. :(

Starry Starry Night... who remembers that song? I love that song!!! (Especially when Josh Groban sings it!!!).

I'm on Book 10 of the Iliad. I thought I might update everyone. By the way, MY ROOM IS CLEAN! Yes, you thought it would never happen, but it did! Everyone stop by my house to see what happened to my room! :)
