Schroeder really wants to know why I'm a good person. It's obviously not because I'm Christian, because I'm not. It's not because of an afterlife of any sort, since I believe that death is nothingness. It's not because of the personality with which I was born, because I believe that people are born with a blank slate. Do I believe in a soul? Probably not either. Then why, oh why, am I a good person? Mr. Moreno says that he's good because it's easier than being bad. I need to figure myself out.

I went to the Pond to see the Ducks play tonight -- first game of the Stanley Cup Finals. Darn it, they lost. I think I'm bad luck for them. They play again on Thursday. Maybe I'll go back to see them play -- they're raffling off tickets to the third game! I want tickets. Grrr.

I went to the Strawberry Festival today. I saw those cool spiral earrings I bought from the Festival a couple years ago, but they're painted weird colors now, so I decided not to spring for them. Besides, she raised the price on them to $18. I missed the rest of the festival; oh well. Free cake next year.

Also today, I read some of Slaughterhouse Five and saw X-Men 2 with Gary. I have my interview for the Build-A-Bear position tomorrow at noon. I'm hoping to be a party leader (since I have all that training in song and game leading). I think Build-A-Bear employees get free admission to the Disneyland parks... exciting. I'm waiting on the callback from Disneyland; one of my goals from my goal list is to work there... so if they hire me as part of the attractions staff there, I may take that offer instead. We'll see in time.
