wAugust 07, 2003 Sorry I haven't posted in a loong time. This week, I made the BEST cake I've ever made! It's called a "Creamsicle Cake." I have no clue where we got the recipe, but that is one good cake! Basically, you make a white vanilla cake, then you let it cool. Poke holes in it, then pour liquid jello (before it hardens) onto the cake. Frost with a mixture of pudding and whipped cream. It's really moist and yummy. Everyone should try making it. In other news, I lost my camera. I've been terribly distressed about this. If I seem like I'm not here, it's because I'm trying to figure out where it is. This week in camp, I have the BEST campers! They're pretty nice and calm. I have about 6 or so of them who are really really smart -- they answer all the questions and normally get them right. As for the rest, well, they're learning. There's something about teaching that makes you feel all good and gooey inside. Next next Saturday, I'll be the "keeper" of Bearemy, the Build a Bear spokesbear. So, stop by Downtown Disney in the afternoon, and you'll see me walking around with the mascot bear. How exciting! I played go with Erik the other day and I lost. :( Oh well. Rematch soon. Did I mention that that Creamsicle Cake is really yummy? I miss my friends -- even when I'm here, it doesn't seem like we hang out a lot any more. Sometimes, there's just nothing to talk about _but_ the light things. I hope I see some more of my friends before I have to leave. The summer was too short.
