Someone from Chittick just stole our target board. I heard they stole Woodbridge's piano just an hour or so ago. My my... all the silly things people do when they're drunk! As for our dorm, I guess it was "reading time," so we all sat around while one of us would read from this giant "Sex Bible." Is this happening at other Colleges/Universities, too, or are we just special?

After classes today, we walked to the Hollywood Video down the street (Rachel offered to give us a ride there, but we decided to walk). On the way back, it began to drizzle. ... then, it poured... it even hailed! We got back soaking wet. Good thing there was food and warmth at the SEEDS house... we stopped there before going all the way back to the dorm. I love the rain. Good times.
The SEEDS people left for Mt. Hood. ... they took Joe with them. :(
I have much to do... JAVA, here I come!

Do I really talk about Joe that much?! Okay, I guess I do. But the truth is that I really (used to? or still do?) like Ben... and I guess we were almost a "couple" (like the holding hands, talking late into the night thing), but then I left for the SEEDS trip, and everything changed back here. I'm sure he's noticed it, too. Here is his weblog. I felt so incredibly bad when I read it. I have a feeling he wrote it because I decided not to go to the party at the crack house with him; instead, I stayed here and made tea with Joe... I feel incredibly horrible about whatever it was I did to him to make him feel that bad! :(
I guess I would be better off without a boyfriend of any kind. I need to concentrate on my studies. ... I need to get to my Hum lecture right now!!!

Hum lecture today was great. We even got to learn a little Greek in dactylic hexameter. My whole dorm wore togas to class today. Toga toga toga! The classes are so small... I love it!
I fell asleep in a lounge about five minutes ago. Eric woke me up and told me to stop studying for Physics so I can get some sleep.
Also today, I learned a little of the tango and some swing. It was sooo incredibly fun (Ballroom dancing, that is). I love this whole dancing thing! Also, the coolest people are in my class. Guess what... Joe signed up for ballroom too! He's so funny!

Dang it, how do I get JAVA on my computer?!
Okay, I know I canceled my AOL Clarisse14 account on short notice. I wanted to get rid of a hacker person. So, my new AOL address is BeverlyLau@aol.com. You can also email me at Beverly.Lau@reed.edu or BeverlyLau@mac.com. Sorry for the mix up. I quit AOL without saving a copy of my address book, so I was completely lost for email addresses. Sorry Linh! :(
Today, I went to Intro to Computing. Our prof is a cutie! Awww, what a cutie! I need to get a JAVA program on my computer. I'm excited! Physics Lab was canceled today, so I played pool with a couple of friends... Steven and Matt. I won one of three, not that bad, if you ask me. I guess I should start using my pool table at home!
We're all wearing togas for our first day of Humanities 110 tomorrow morning at 9 am. This is going to rock! :) I have black sheets, so I'll be sporting a black toga. Yay me! Hope this works out! Yes, I'll be wearing undergarments.
I love my Mac. (Don't be fooled, I'm just trying to trick my Mac into loving me.). But if I don't love my Mac, I definitely love JOE because he loves Macs. :) hehe.

Obviously, this thing didn't post what I tried to post yesterday. Basically, yestereday, we chopped down a bunch of invasive Scot's Brush plants by the Sandy River. We ate lunch by the river, with our feet in the crisp, cold water. The view was breath-taking.
Today, I bought my books. I went to a barbecue at one of the other dorms. I spent lots of time sleeping. A bunch of my dormies went to OMSI (the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry), but I passed. Tonight, Jimmy Smith (apparently a famous Jazz musician) is playing at Kaul Auditorium on campus. I also passed on that. I am very tired.
I also did not go to the party last night. They told me they wouldn't drink. I hear today that they did. I'm sad about that. I am glad that I didn't go. Instead, I stayed back and made Turkish tea with Joe. That stuff was pretty good (probably because I put quite a bit of sugar in it!!!). I also attended a vegan dessert party hosted by my dorm. Also at our dorm, I attended the Japanese movie party. There were all sorts of Japanese snacks. I met some nice people there, too. I'm glad that I didn't go to the party at the "Crack house." I shall avoid all of those sorts of parties from here on in. I can have just as much fun at movie parties and other dry events. Gee, people drink a lot here.
