It's 2:30 am and I'm still not asleep. On the plus side, I learned how to knit tonight. One more thing checked off my 100 things to do list.

I feel like such a slug for not participating in things around campus... but I just have so much to read and so much to study!!! I have turned into the student I always hated: one who spends lots of time studying and hardly any time on the "fun" extracurric stuff. I guess you could consider Nuclear Reactor "fun," but it sure does involve a lot of work for a "fun" activity. I also do Orchestra, but that's like saying I did band... it's a class, too. What else do I do? Some stuff with the Asian Student Alliance (hah! I'd like to see Berkeley get one of those!), some things with SEEDS (volunteering), Kids for Kids (volunteering), and of course the fun stuff with my friends. ... and Gray Fund trips. But no real leadership positions... I should do something with leadership... I guess the Biology teaching job is something, but it's a JOB. Leadership? I'm on the leadership planning initiatives committee... that's cool. Hmm... I need to stop being a slug and I need to study more Econ and read more Plato! ...and I haven't eaten yet today. Aaaa!!!

Yes, I'm still up. I just spent 3+ hours doing Physics. Goody. At least I wasn't the only one. There were 3 others in the Math Lounge, toiling over Physics problems... and these others who were there have taken Physics before, too... that's how intense the problem sets are. Wow. I don't feel so bad any more about my lack of experience in Physics... it just means that when we're all on the same level, I will have improved so much more than they have.
By the way, Margaret Cho is coming to Reed this Saturday to perform. I have a ticket for the show. Sounds... uh... fun... Why oh why did they waste my tuition money to bring Margaret Cho here?! What a waste.

For everyone's information, for typing a formula into Excel, know that (A3)(B3) does not denote multiplication... neither does A3xB3. You must use A3*B3. We couldn't figure out why it wasn't working... but now it does. Hope this helps you guys out in the future.

I spent all day studying, and I still have things yet to read! I must read Plato's Republic by Friday(?). I need to read two chapters of Economics plus the supplemental reading from the other textbook at the library. I have to do my Physics problem set and my Programming lab homework. Aaaa!!! Need a break!

Sitting in Econ... saw this graffiti on the desk: "If I had one hour left to live, I would spend it here because it would last forever." Clever.
