Last night, I got Drew Tretick to autograph my other CD (the one I bought a year and a half ago). He remarked that it was all scratched up... and I explained that it was because I listen to it all the time and I take it with me all over the place. While he signed, I talked to the people behind me (from Reno) who happened to meet Josh the day before at DCA. Josh was in line for California Screamin' (the roller coaster) in front of them. Drew went to talk to him manager, and when he returned, he told me that his manager had something for me... so I went over there, and he got me a new CD (with the PBS video on it!). Yeah, Drew gave it to me for free. Woo woo. Yay! New Drew Tretick CD! So, that's my story about last night.

Today, I spent lots of money shopping. I didn't think much about Josh... he flew to France today. I do still need to get some errands done before I go. I need to talk to a couple schools about Reed, I need to buy wire for my art project, and I need to read The Leadership Challenge. I need to do the Reactor stuff before next Sunday, but my Calc and Music Theory review can be done DURING Paideia.

I TALKED TO JOSH GROBAN TWO DAYS AGO!!!

AAAAAA!!!! I talked to Josh Groban on the phone tonight!!!! I guess it was about 9 pm. Christina and Byron had gone to Downtown Disney to play DDR. On their way out, they saw him walking by the Pin cart. They followed him all the way to the Jazz Kitchen, at which point they called me. Byron said, "Josh Groban is standing 10 feet in front of me!" At first, I didn't believe him... then I did. I wanted to go there to see Joshin person, but seeing that that would be almost impossible to get him to stay in one place (or for Byron and Christina to continue following him), I resolved that I'd be okay with just talking to him on the phone. So, I told Byron to get him on the phone. Christina pushed her way past the Cast Member with him and said something to the effect of, "Mr. Groban, can you say hi to my sister? She's a big fan." And he took the phone and said, "Hi Sister!" Then Christina told him my name, and he said "Hi Beverly." Then, I remember telling him that I was at his site at that very moment (which I was). He asked me if I liked the site. I said yes, of course. Then I asked him about the song on his demo tape (I explained that I had posted something about it earlier). He answered that he sang "All I Ask of You" from Phantom of the Opera. Yay! Then, I couldn't think of anything else to talk about, so I asked him to sing something really quickly... at which point he said that he had to go b/c he was with a bunch of friends. I let him go. I think he said, "Bye Beverly" at the end. I don't remember. My heart was pounding so hard!!! AAAA!!! I do remember that he was very eloquent when he was speaking. Christina tells me that he's not _too_ tall, that he was wearing a black leather jacket, and that he carried with him a cell phone. He was with a group of people (mostly girls and a couple guys... friends) and a Disney Cast Member in the plaid vest. AAAAA!!! I should have gone with them to Downtown Disney!!! Josh Groban!!!! Doesn't matter... I got to talk to JOSH GROBAN on the phone!!!!!!!!!! After the talk on the phone, I screamed really loudly and told my parents that Josh Groban was just on the phone. AAA!!!! Then, I hopped into my car and went as fast as I could to Downtown Disney. I didn't see Josh Groban. I waited by the Disneyland gate for a long time. Christina and Byron caught up to me there. On the way out, I bought Drew Tretick's new CD and had him autograph it. Got a picture with him, too. ... but alas, no Josh. Drew asked me about my Josh Groban CD I happened to have with me when I talked to him... and he said something about Josh being a great singer. I told him that Josh was there tonight and to keep an eye out for him. ... but alas, again, no Josh. We played DDR for a bit, then left. No Josh. But that's okay... I GOT TO TALK TO JOSH GROBAN ON THE PHONE!!!! AAAAAA!!!!

Happy New Year everyone! Okay, the next 12 days shall be full of studying! (After the Rose Parade, of course). And I did come up with a New Year's Resolution: no soda for the new year. Yup, that's why I have a Nalgene bottle now! Woo woo.

I spent today online looking up Josh Groban again. I know, I should be studying... but JOSH GROBAN! Okay, one of these days, if I ever get to meet him, I promise I'll stop wasting time online wallowing about him.

Does anyone have the first Angels World Series Game on tape? Josh Groban sang the National Anthem at that game. Dude, I sooo should have been there! Where was I? O yeah, in Oregon. I think I saw most of the games on TV... so much studying... or was that Fall Break? I remember seeing most of them... and I listened to the seventh game with Jesse on his radio. If you have it on tape, can you let me borrow it?! I'd be forever grateful. :)

I understand binding energy! Yay nuclear physics! Okay, I started reading nuclear reactor stuff this morning... I got through Chapter 2 and was so proud of myself that I decided I'd go online to celebrate... haven't gotten off since. Addicted to Josh Groban!!! AAAAAaaaAAA!!!
