I hear there's going to be everything from midnight naked soccer, to Jeopardy with the President, to free food and minstrels. It seems as if lots of the events involved naked people or alcohol. I think one of the events is a sprint to Safeway (they run to Safeway, buy a 40L thing of beer, then run back and chug it). I, for one, am not going to participate in much this weekend. Mainly, I'm working "Karma Patrol." Basically, we go around campus, picking up people who have passed out and/or OD'd on "stuff." My friends and I also picked up some Martenelli's sparkling apple cider at Safeway so we could have our own celebration. You really should see the schedule they passed out in the newspaper -- I'll bring it back with me in May. And, if you're ever free this week in the next four years, you should stop by. Each Reedie is allowed to purchase one "pass" for a guest. Yes, you have to have a wristband to be on campus this weekend! It's apparantly one of the most wanted parties of the year. There's even a "border patrol" who makes sure no high school students or other non-Reedies get in. haha. posted by Beverly at 6:20 PM w Happy May Day!
