Karina, Katia, Lea Ann and I went out to lunch yesterday at Manta's. Then, we came back to my house to play pool and Huggermugger. Huggermugger is such a fun, challenging game. There are some real stump-me questions in there. We should play a game of Huggermugger one day -- like an IB reunion party or something. Last night was another night of Build-A-Bear training. Then, there was the bowling match between Build-A-Bear and Hagen Daas (sp?). I don't know yet who won. I saw Claire there. We talked for a bit. Today, I woke up extremely late. I got my Financial Aid decision from Reed. I dropped a reply for that in the mail, and I'm sitting here now with nothing to do. On to Italian!

I miss high school. Rather, I missed high school. I missed doing the fun things that high school kids can do without having to worry about housing deposits being due and class schedules to be planned out. Why couldn't I see that high school was supposed to be shared moments and fun? Why couldn't I see that it was about playing broom ball and going to the beach? Why did I do so many activities, without leaving room for just hanging out with friends and talking to them... seeing what makes them tick? I guess I can't go back and change it now. I feel like I don't really know the people I would casually say "hi" to on the way to classes. I was too busy being busy to enjoy life as it passed on by. I'll make it up in college, if my work will so allow.

Gary wrote a nice recap of the week. So, I don't have to! hahha. Go to 06/01/2003 Entry: "Summer Update".

For those of you who don't know yet, I got the job at Build-A-Bear. Wahoo! I get into Disneyland for free! (Not to mention it's an awesome, fun job... what could be better than just playing with kids?!). Hopefully it won't be too difficult to fit in Build-A-Bear when my Discovery Science Center job starts in July.
