Happy Fourth of July everyone! I had work tonight until past 1am, and I'll have work on the 4th of July, too. I think closing may be my least favorite part of the Build-A-Bear job. Oh yeah, today (July 3rd today), the lunch bunch went to Disneyland for half a day of fun and reminiscence. My brother came along, too. We talked about Katia and about Chad and other stuff. It was pretty fun, minus the heat. AAA!!! Camp starts next Monday!

I just got back from Recreational Leadership class. It's fun being the one who already knows what's going on. Heheh. I taught a coupe songs and a game. I helped Ms. Jelin check in people for CPR training, too. By the way, I got my CPR/First Aid certifications this past Saturday. AND, I got my Reactor license in the mail. Speaking of the Reactor, there's a fuel leak. It happened two days ago at 1709. It was not even serious enough to be classified as a Notification of an Unusual Event, so no worries. They'll have it fixed in, at most, one month. The Lunch Bunch is going to Disneyland this Thursday (well, everyone except Katia, since she already went back to Berkeley). I saw 28 Days Later today. It was pretty creepy, but I know that there aren't any weird monkey people around -- besides, it was like Night of the Living Dead, only more realistic-looking. I'm listening to Travis now. Great music. Oh yeah, and Daniel Bedingfield -- If You're Not the One. It was stuck in my head all day the other day. Well, work tonight. Fun.

I have a lot of stuff to do this summer. I need to read a Leadership book for my committee. I'm going to Disneyland with the following people (we need to plan this stuff out soon): John, Sheryl and Russ, Marina, and Steph/Ash/Jess/Jenn, and Drew. Wow. That's a lot of trips to D-land. No DSC training this week. Next week, I begin teaching Summer Smiles.
