Disneyland is magical, because music blares from nowhere, and it makes you feel like you're in a movie. The sun is out, the sky is blue without a cloud in sight, and it's just nice. Today was my last day at Build-a-Bear. I'll miss California.

In baking news, I made lemon bars today. They're in the oven right now. Gee, I hope these turn out okay.

This summer, I learned a little about spontaneity. Instead of planning things in advance, call someone up the day of... or just show up at his/her house. Spontaneity is the spice of life... it makes one's day exciting and different, instead of just another day in the agenda.

Steph and I went to Disneyland yesterday. We had so much fun, and we caught up on old times. Has anyone ever heard of a "Surprise Fastpass?" Hahah. Neither had we! When we got our Fastpasses for Star Tours, the machine spit out extra tickets -- more for Star Tours? No... instead, for Honey I Shrunk the Audience. Hahahhahaha. I thought to myself... You don't need a Fastpass for Honey I Shrunk the Audience... hahahahhahaha. Anyway, Steph and I went anyway, since we had time to kill before our other Fastpasses were good. When we got to the theatre, there was a sign that said, "Surprise Fastpass." Hahahhahaha. They had it all planned out. Just when you think you're special for getting a Surprise Fastpass, you realize that everyone gets one! Anyway, I thought that was particularly funny. I'm so glad I got to spend time with Steph this summer before I leave -- I haven't spent much time with some of my friends, and I that is really sad because next summer, there'll be just that much more room between us.

Today, I went to the beach. I love California beaches -- I never really appreciated it until I saw the beaches in Oregon -- they're so cold and almost rainy up there. The beaches here are sunny, but cool -- a perfect combination.

Today, I also went to Build-A-Bear with my siblings to buy a bear for my cousin for her birthday. We saw Teresa there. Wow, what a coincidence! She works at the Disney Store at Main Place now. What a small world this is!

I started packing today. I leave on the 30th. What a fast summer this was.
