So, the commenting is down, eh? Well, I'll show you, Blogger! Here's my new journal: Beverly's Reediejournal. Yeah, it's on Movable Type. I know I told Gary that I wouldn't post the link... but really, it's so convenient! It has built in commenting, and it's pretty elegant. I need to make the title show up -- all of my efforts to update the stylesheet have been unsuccessful. Grrr. Gary, fix my reediejournal!

Gee, I hope I can somehow keep all of these entries. It'd be a shame to let three or so years' worth of entries disappear. I hope my paper journal has captured that which was on this journal -- it certainly was updated less frequently.

Anyway, farewell dear old Blog...

I had the most amazing weekend. I went to Seattle to see Josh there on Saturday, and then I drove down with Kathi and Allison (two of my Grobanite friends from Washington) to Portland. Oh yeah, there was another concert in Portland tonight (Sunday). We had so much fun! Josh was SPECTACULAR. And, at one point, we all got out our light pens and waved them back and forth... the whole auditorium was filled with these. Josh was definitely touched: his smile showed it from ear to ear. And, he even got choked up at the end of the song tonight. Afterward, Allison got to go backstage to meet Josh (she won the contest). She took my David Sedaris book back there with her to give to Josh for me. I had had David sign it to Josh when he was at Reed. She said that he LOVED the book. I'm so happy. I can't get to sleep now. I am on such a Josh high! P.S. I had 3rd row center seats at both concerts! AAA!
